Has anyone integrated an interval timer into their practice? I’ve seen a few on the market and they seem to be a good idea, but I don’t know anyone who has used them.

Long long time i just want to knew what is Symptom of black magic......


In very brief i divided negative in two part one is natural which come natural way like star, your Karma, Food, Land, Neibgour effect come by own...etc

Other is Black magic effect which is given forcefully to somebody.....

How judge my clint he is effected by blackmagic What Symptom i feel at the time of healing.. due to that i reconize it..

What special procaution required in front of black magic becuase i knew black magic reverse back attack very fast.

I have done few clint who is effected with black magic after healing of those i feel very weekness in me even i feel unbalance.

When i was healing those clint my head was full block and pressure on it. i feel at the time of healing.

Some time i get reaction of black magic in my dream same night.

Is any body there who can suggest some other way where we can easily understnd the clint he is effect with black magic before healing.

I am waiting for everybody response may be they have practicle experience or they have book experience all thing help me

I m much aware that you have researched a lot in reiki, both origins, as well as nature and methodology....and so i find trust in asking you some technical thing


what is reiju empowerment ? of course you could say that please google the word and you will find what you want to know... indeed, i did it, but still i want a second word from you, so that i can confirm or dispel what i have gathered in this process

i was reading something about need to use symbols, and i was amazed to find that Usui himself did not use symbols for attuning the students. symbols were infact introduced later when reiki knowledge was passed on to imperial navy personnel, who had the need to apply energy fast and quick... and who were not interested any much in spiritual and emotional development...


i also learnt from various pages, that in reiju empowerment method of attunement, the master does not 'put' symbols into crown, heart and hands of potential attunee, rather he just empowers by his strong imagination power and superb mind ability...


precisely, what i got from research, is that reiju empowerment is reiki without symbols... and now i want whether i m right in arriving at the concept...

your thoughtful input, as usual, is very much needed here Wayne


and i request the learned members to provide knowledge abou this thing, since it seems it is conducive to a smooth conceptual alignment to reiki phenomenon

I did Reiki I in January, and am hoping to do level 2 over the summer. Anyway, my query is, is it common to feel reiki energy going to places where it is needed even when not either receiving a treatment, or doing a self healing. I have felt this over the past month. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this?

P.S. I'm Usui Reiki, level 3, so don't hesitate to give symbols if needed.

Am a former long term lurker! Am curious about what others focus on when self-treating / doing reiki.

Am aware that people experience reiki in different ways; my RMT tells me that she has out of body experiences etc and feels the presence of her animal guides. I experience reiki in a different ways.

When self-treating, I try to visualise the flow of reiki in and around me; cleansing me; sometimes its rainbows of colours etc. but this is something that I have to do for myself, rather than it just happening to me (if that makes sense) . I find this easier when self-treating as I can lie back and close my eyes and visualise.

Find it a bit more difficult to stay focused when giving reiki to my partner (and plants!). Try to focus by 'noticing' things such about what's being reiki'd! so if its the plants, I try to notice how green the leaves are, or what the textures like or something like that . I also focus by 'noticing' what my hands are exeriencing.

However, sometimes, I can lose my concentration (especially after a stressful day at work!!) - at the moment I think I'd struggle to stay focused and self-treat for anything more than 10-15 minutes

Am interested in hearing how others do it

Recently I received Karuna Reiki, namely, got attuned to karmic channel... I have some of Karuna Reiki symbols... According to my master, the symbols are good for healing karmic connections, curse, evil eye etc... I would like to have your opinion as to their effectiveness...

I have been advised that it is a good practice before doing a distance sending to ask the recipient's higher self for permission to send, even if that person has requested the Reiki.

I am unsure how to do this and "hear" the answer. I have tried, recently, during a few different sendings. The first time, I received a rush of energy that felt like a response. I took it for a "yes" although it was a guess.

The second time I tried this, I was all set, my hands were tingling, and I asked the person's higher self for permission to send, and all of a sudden the tingling stopped completely. I tried to reactivate, as I know the person is in great need of healing, and had requested Reiki. But the energy would not respond. So I decided to try again at a later time.

The third time I tried asking the recipient's permission, my hands continued to tingle, so I did the sending.

I thought that there would be more of a clear "intuitive" yes or no. Does this develop over time?

I've just been asked by someone who received the Reiki Master attunement in 1990 if the Ransei symbol is still being used.

I have never heard of this symbol.

Who thought it up? What does it look like?

Why isn't this symbol on The Reiki Pages??? (If it's not there, I must question the authenticity!)

Hello Everyone,

I am co-hosting a yoga and Reiki retreat in Costa Rica in the last week of May '08. I need to have a massage table available for treatments (or something similar).

The airline is going to charge $100 each way because it's oversize luggage. I'm willing to do it if necessary, but I'm wondering if anyone here has any suggestions or alternatives to dragging the table around with me.

When I first began my reiki journey, there was a period of time when I could feel other people's pain. I can pinpoint most symptoms.

I dont know why, but sometimes when I just go around people I take their stuff on. What should I do to prevent this?
